Crosses are the main symbol of Easter for most Christians. They can be made of a variety of different things and the motifs used in many different ways from pillows to wall hangings. Here are some ideas that use the cross motif:

Make a cross topiary by  creating a cross with twigs and raffia. Use two twigs of approximately the same length for the vertical bar and two shorter ones for the horizontal bar. Lash them together with raffia and push into some soft potting soil. Plant ivy next to the cross and twine it around the vines, securing gently with soft string. You can train the vine to the cross for a beautiful Easter craft to give as a gift.

In the spring most fabric stores have bolts and bolts of Easter themed fabric. You can use this fabric to make Easter crafts like:

The cutest items are usually made with at least two different fabrics. Keep the patterns in balance and make sure that your colors complement each other. Pastel gingham in a small pattern is usually a good choice for almost any other Easter novelty pattern.

Try to stay within your comfort zone and level of experience when it comes to Easter crafts, or any other craft. It is better to enjoy what you are doing and learn slowly than get frustrated because your project is too difficult.
