Best iPhone Accessories and Apps

If you have recently gotten an iPhone then you may be looking for the best iPhone accessories and aps. There are thousands of them available and it can be confusing to figure out which ones are best for your situation. First things first, however; you need to protect your investment.

iPhones are not cheap so once you have one you will want to protect it. It is quite delicate and a fall could damage the screen or even the phone itself. There are a number of cases, screen protectors, and case types to choose from. You will want one that cradles the phone tightly and guards it if it gets knocked off a counter or table.

The iPhone silicone protective case with screen cover is what I have on my phone. I am terribly clumsy and the case has protected the phone from more than one fall. It has three color options:

Since I have Adult Sensory Processing Disorder I have to be careful about how things feel. This case does not bother me at all; it is very smooth and not bulky. It fights tightly with no gaps and slides in and out of pockets and purses with ease.

These armbands allow you to jog, ride horseback, work out at the gym, or hike without concern about losing your phone.  The bands fight snugly and securely so it isn’t going to be falling off or getting cracked from bumping against the weight machine.

There is a lot of cool stuff being created for iPhones everyday. They make it easier to travel, to work, and to play with your phone close by and charged.

There are a lot of apps that you can add to your iphone for free. I don’t have a complete list but a few of the apps that I love are:

Lose It! – Track your weight, your goals and your calorie and nutrient intake

iPeriod - Yep. Just what it sounds like. Track your period, fertile days, and even the days when you have a love connection. iPeriod tells you when to expect your period and how long it is expected to last based on your last few cycles. SInce it predicts it for a year you can make those vacation plans without worry.

Wordpress – Helps me keep up with comments on my blogs even when I don’t have access to my laptop.

Tweetdeck – Excellent way to keep up with twitter

Facebook – Helps you keep up with what your friends are doing

Yahoo Messenger – More social life

Bible – No excuse for not keeping up with Bible reading

Around Me – If you need to know where the closest bank or gas station is you will love this app

Epi – Epicurious App that allows you to hunt for recipes and make a list

Debt Tracker – keeps track of your debts and helps you make a pay off plan

Bill Tracker – keeps track of your bills and lets you know when they are due

Certify Wallet – I like this. It lets you take pictures of your receipts, make notes about them, and store them online for your expenses.

Chase – This is the bank I use but most banks have an app. I can check on deposits, balances, and even pay bills

Paypal – Many of my clients pay me with Paypal. With this app you can keep up with what is in your account.
